IPOB : Police declared Ifeanyi wanted

The police have declared Mr Uzo Kenneth Ifeanyi wanted over his involvement in the activities of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Security forces have been having a running battle with a Pro – Biafra group, who they are accusing of causing unrest in the South – East region.

Few years back, the group was proscribed by the Nigerian Government despite its insistence that it was non – violent.

In a Police bulletin made avaliable to Journalists Ifeanyi was named as a ring Ieader of the proscribed group in Enugu State.

The Police said he was part of the IPOB team that clashed with security opportunities at 9th mile area of Enugu State on 23rd January 2023.

The IPOB members who were having a procession clashed with security agencies Ieading to casualty on both sides.

The IPOB Ieadership had described the confrontation as unprovoked attack.
In the bulletin, the Police said ” wanted is one Uzo Kenneth Ifeanyi a native of Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.

He is 38 years old and speaks Igbo and English language fluently.

We urge anyone with useful information on this whereabouts to report to the nearest Police Station or any other security agency.
