IPOB does not need to carry arms before it’s tagged terrorist organisation – Abia CP

Combined team of security personnel, Wednesday embarked on a show of force in and around Umuahia metropolis in an apparently move to pre-empt the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) or any pro-Biafran group from implementing its forthcoming sit-at-home order.
This was even as the Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr Anthony Ogbizi, had said that IPOB does not need to carry arms or be violent before it would be tagged a terrorist organization.
However, the gods of Afaraukwu, the community of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu this time, rejected the show of force and subsequently, arrested the Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), leading the team.
