IPOB Hausa service studio: Not in our house – Kanu’s brother

Contrary to suspicions in security circles and rumours circulating within the country, the newly launched ‘IPOB Radio Nigeria Hausa service’ is not aired from the family house of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu country home, in Afaraukwu Ibeku, in Umuahia of Abia State.
This clarification came from Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the younger brother of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB), who denied the rumour, while raising the alarm that four Hilux vans of the operatives of the Department of State Services ( DSS) were allegedly patrolling the street to their Afaraukwu Umuahia family home since Saturday afternoon.
While decrying the incessant raid of their family house by security agents since September 14, said IPOB had no radio studio in the compound and wondered why security operatives are parading the street leading to their house, apparently believing that the studio of the newly launched ‘Radio Nigeria Hausa service’ by IPOB was located in the compound.
He called on the international community to prevail on the Nigerian Government to stop the security operatives from further raid of the premises, stating that security agents are building check points indiscriminately around the community, insisting that such action is uncalled for as IPOB has no arms Sor weapons anywhere.
Apparent tension has started building up in the area again following the experience of the people during the military Operation Python Dance II on September 14 military invasion of the compound during which multitude of IPOB members and indigenes of the area were also allegedly murdered.
