IPAC welcomes Gov. Buni’s reform programmes
The Yobe state chapter of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has endorsed the reform programmes initiated by Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration.
IPAC Chairman in the state, Alhaji Umar Kukuri, stated this in an interview on Monday in Damaturu.

Kakuri said the reform programmes in education, agriculture and economic empowerment accommodates everyone and does not discriminate along party lines, adding that it promotes development.
“The constitution of committees on education and agricultural reform and, the recommendations proffered would definitely improve education and agriculture in the state.
“Every political party in the state identifies with the reform policies in education, agriculture, commerce and empowerment programmes initiated by the government.
“These are aimed at improving education, food production, security and economy to the benefit of everyone in the state,” he stated.

According to him, IPAC would continue to support the state government to actualise these policies and programmes for the benefit of the people.
Kakuri noted that the payment of minimum wage to state civil servants has further stabilized the system for efficiency and productivity.
The chairman urged workers to reciprocate the gesture by putting in their best to move the state forward.
