Integrity is the lifeblood of GSF Foundation, says CEO, Ologbenla Smith

Integrity is an essential quality without which no charity foundation can survive for long.

This is according to Ologbenla Babatunde Smith, CEO of Givers Supportive Foundation.

“For our activities, we rely heavily on donors’ goodwill and there is no way we can keep going to them every day for more if we are dubious,” he said.

His charity, GSF Foundation, caters to the need of the less privileged, the sick and the extremely poor in particular.

Smith continued: “We handle cases back to back every day. As we solve one case, there are hundreds waiting to be solved.

So, for that kind of charity, we need constant and unending supply of fund, which unfortunately no one has. Hence, it becomes imperative for us to find a way to get the public involved.”

With integrity, GSF Foundation has been coping with the pressure, he averred.
“To this end, we keep our operation open to the public.

We document our daily activities on our instagram page @gsf_foundation and we make videos of each cases for donors as soon as we get fund.

So donors know who gets their money, how, when and for what. This approach has given us credibility to the point that Nigerians do not doubt us,” Ologbenla Babatunde Smith explained.

He further affirmed that no one has complained about GSF Foundation being a genuine charity organisation or not.

“Our mode of operation is open and transparent; anyone can track what we are doing and how much fund we are able to raise per each case and how it is disbursed,” he stated.

He added: “GSF Foundation tries as much as possible to appreciate all who help and support our activities.

We try daily to help the less privileged, in accordance with our stated mission. And so far, people who support us with donations have helped to make the task easier.”
