In just one month Ighalo named in Manchester United’s four Player of the Month

Odion Ighalo after arriving at Old Trafford from China has needed just a month to earn a Manchester United Player of the Month nomination .

United revealed four of March 2020’s best performed players today: Ighalo, new Portuguese attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes, captain and central defender Harry Maguire as well as Brazilian midfielder Fred.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United enjoyed a brilliant unbeaten run of 11 matches, including three wins in four games last month – while conceding just one goal.

The 30-year-old Nigerian striker notched up three goals in four games, the likes of Fernandes and Fred inspired the creativity and attacking and with Maguire doing brilliant defence work to ensure three cleans sheets out of four.

The winner for the Player of the Month will be determined by fan voting here on Man United’s website.
