Imo residents disregard IPOB Sit-at-Home [PHOTOS]

Residents

Residents of Imo state came out in droves in open disregard of a ‘sit-at-home’ order put in place by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

It can be recalled that state governor, Hope Uzodinma declared that imolites should feel free to move around and conduct their daily businesses, assuring them of their safety.

The proscribed group had announced that a ‘sit-at-home’ exercise would be conducted every Monday in the entire South-east to protest the continued detention of Kanu.

Residents who disobeyed the order faced severe consequences as members of the group known as ‘enforcers’ would attack anyone seen conducting business or moving around.

However, Gov. Uzodinma in collaboration with security agencies has put an end to the ‘menace’ which is evident in the images below. The Photographs were taken in the state capital, Owerri.
