Imo PDP Youths Flay Araraume, Anumodu for Joining APC

The Peoples Democratic Party Youth Movement (PDPYM), has taken a swipe at the exodus of some prominent chieftains of the party to the nascent All Progressive Congress (APC), advising Nigerians, including the APC, to be wary of the defectors.

In a statementin Owerri, the Imo State capital, the chairman of the youth movement, Mr.Greg Okwuozo, expressed shock and disappointment that instead of remaining with the PDP that had, over the years,nurtured democracy in the country and acquired fame and credibility as the largest political party in Africa, “these chieftains of the party, who are expected to assist in providing effective opposition only chose the inglorious part of defection.”

Okwuozo, a lawyer, described as most unfortunate and shameful the actions of some politicians as Sen IfeanyiAraraume, Jerry Chukwueke and Humphrey Anumodu, who ascended to limelight on the platform of the party only to abandon it after  the presidential election.
