Imo Lawmakers commence impeachment against Dep Gov
Political crisis is rocking the Imo state chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), as the State House of Assembly Tuesday, commenced an impeachment process against the Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere.
The Lawmakers accused Madumere of gross misconduct dereliction of duty and imprisonment in United States of America.
The state lawmakers last week suspended four of their colleagues suspected to be loyal to the state deputy governor.
The deputy speaker of the state House of Assembly, Ugonna Ozuruigbo who represents Nwangele LGA and 13 other lawmakers tendered petition alleged that the state deputy governor of “absconding from his office more than three months without permission .
