I’m not in Ebonyi to work for opposition, says new CP

The new commissioner of Police in Ebonyi State, Mr Musa Kimo, has dismissed insinuations in some quarters that he was posted to Ebonyi state to work for the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kimo said this yesterday in Abakaliki, the state capital while briefing journalists on his agenda for the command, saying that the public should dismiss such insinuations.

“When the head is perfect, other parts of the body will be perfect. As the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, is allergic to corruption and anything that is anti-social, so are we,” he said.

He noted that the police were the peoples’ servants and would do what were within international best practices to ensure the people were safe, adding that the people had nothing to fear.
