Ikpeazu pledges to take care of vulnerable
Abia Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu says his administration will continue to do its best to cater for the vulnerable in society.
The Governor stated this at the Government House, Umuahia during his investiture as the state grand patron of the Nigeria Red Cross Society, adding that taking care of the vulnerable is a passion for him as exemplified by some of the actions and programmes he has put in place for the vulnerable in the state.
These, he said include the accident intervention scheme, the free Medicare programme for the aged and the tele-medicine initiative.
