A/Ibom 2019: Emmanuel declares for second term today

As political activities intensify for 2019 general election, Governor udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state will declare his intention to contest for second term today on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Addressing a news conference in Uyo yesterday under the auspices of ‘Divine Mandate campaign organisation’, the chairman of the declaration planning committee and speaker of Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, Hon. Onofiok Luke, told journalists that the event would take place at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium.

The speaker recalled that Akwa Ibom people trusted the capabilities and patriotism of Governor Udom Emmanuel three years ago and resolved to give him another chance to steer the ship of the state.
