Why I support Obiano with my bread, water –Chukwuka
The producer of Obiano Bread and Water, Chief Augustine Okechukwu-Chukwuka, has said he decided to brand his products with Governor Willie Obiano’s pictures and other details as his own contribution towards the transformation he is has brought to the state.
Chief Chukwuka, the Managing Director of Austraco Industries, makers of Chrisken Bread and Water, who was reacting in an exclusive interview with The Anambra Times, to various kinds of rumour making the rounds on social media concerning the products, explained that he is an industrialist who specialises on production of food products.
He said having been awed by the outstanding performance of the governor, as an industrialist, he started thinking of how he would support the governor to continue his developmental strides, noting that the project which commenced in February this year, is entirely his idea.
According to the industrialist who is also the Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Ogidi Ward 1, the security which the governor had brought to the state has created the stability
and conducive business environment for investors of his ilk to operate effectively in the state, while his Agricultural development initiative is yielding the raw materials for their industries.
Chief Chukwuka, who hails from Ogidi in Idemili North Council Area, also recalled how the governor was able to resolve an over 20 year old traditional rulership tussle in his community
and recognised the traditional ruler which the people selected, and asserted that as a result, the community is now experiencing massive self-help developmental milestones.
While calling on Ndi Anambra to discountenance whatever negative rumour around the products, Chief Chukwuka pointed out that what is significant about the Obiano administration is the genuine efforts towards pursuing programmes and policies that will positive bearing on the lives of the people.
He urged the people of the state to join the campaign and use their resources to support the government to do more for the people, as according to him, no contemporary government can achieve much without the support of the private sector.
