I saw people mourning Desmond Elliot – Pastor Celestine Michael

A Nigerian pastor, Celestine Micheal, has called for prayers for Nollywood actor and Lagos State House of Assembly member, Desmond Elliot, saying his life is in grave danger.

Desmond Elliot (born 4 February 1974) is a Nigerian actor, director, and politician who has starred in over two hundred films and a number of television shows and soap operas. He won best supporting actor in a drama at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and was nominated for best supporting actor at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

He was elected as a lawmaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency, in the 11 April 2015 Nigerian General Elections

Michael claims to have seen people mourning Elliot’s death in a trance.

The cleric wrote on his Facebook page: “While praying on some issues on the mount this morning, I fell into a trance like it happens most times I pray.

“I saw some persons mourning Desmond Elliot the Nollywood actor, scriptwriter and movie producer now turned politician. Please family join me pray that no evil agenda succeeds over him and his family.

“The Lord show him mercy anywhere he missed it, cause him to know his God and fulfill divine purpose. Remember God reveals to redeem.”

Elliot won his bid to represent the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2015, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayo Smith.
