“I can’t show off because of kidnappers”-Mr Ibu laments
Comic actor, John Okafor a.k.a Mr Ibu has stated reasons why he stopped flaunting his acquisition on social media.
Ibu said he ended that lifestyle because he had been kidnapped more than once.
He noted that the abductions happened because the kidnappers thought he was rich, stating that he will no longer show off on social media.
He made these statements on The Gist, a popular TV show. According to him:”They say our job is about packaging but that does not apply to some of us again.
Packaging no longer matters in the entertainment industry because of the fear of kidnappers, who could be made to believe that we are rich as being paraded on the screen.”
