Hunters rescue 60-year old woman abducted by unknown persons in a forest

It was celebration galore in Rumuoji, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, as a 60-year old woman, Madam Love Isaiah Onaru, who was abducted by unknown persons four days ago was rescued by hunters.
The woman was said to have left her home at Rumuoji to visit her daughter in Iba, in Ikwerre Local Government Area but got missing in the course of the journey.
Her son, Chukwumeche Onaru, who made a complaint to the Police about his mother’s sudden disappearance confirmed the rescue of his mother by the hunters who met her in a sorry state in the forest and she narrated her ordeal to them.
In another development, the Rivers State Police command has deployed a detachment of men from the anti-cultism unit, anti-kidnapping unit, Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, and regular Mobile Police men to Elele Local Government Area.
The deployment is as a result of the killing and beheading of a young man said to be in his 30’s, last night, by suspected cultists in his community, in Elele.
The residents of the community were shocked this morning when they saw the headless body of the yet-to-be-identified young man by the side of a major road in the community.
A senior Police officer who spoke on the issue stated that suspected cultists stormed the community, last night, and attacked the victim. He, however, assured that the Police was doing everything possible to arrest the suspected cultists.
