Mr. Odeboju, the General Secretary of one of the Estates in the community, we were reliable informed was not at home at the time of the incidence, however two of his dogs were not fortunate as they were killed when the attackers stormed his residence, and his house girl was also beaten to a comma when she refused informing the attackers the where about of her boss.

All efforts aimed at contacting Mr. Babatunde Odeboju for his comment in respect of the attack proved abortive, as at the time of going to press.

However, our correspondent gathered from one of the residents that Mr. Odeboju had relocated with his family to Abuja for fear of been attacked again by these hoodlums. It will be recalled that Mr. Babatunde Odeboju was once kidnapped by these hoodlums but was fortunate to have regained his freedom after some ransom was paid.

The home of Mr. Adrian Chibuke a well known philanthropist of Imuti community area was also a target, as members of his family were manhandled and harassed.

These militants now engage in kidnapping as result of the strong security presence at the area, which had made pipeline vandalization less attractive, and they had therefore resorted to targeting some key members of the community especially those residents that are member of the police-community task force. It is believed that these hoodlums have a strong network nationwide and god fatherism nationwide.
