How HRM Florence Okonkwo held Unforgettable 3-part event at Odeon Cinema, London

HRM Florence Okonkwo, the celebrated author, actress, and producer, captivated the hearts of Londoners with a grand 3-part event at the Greenwich Odeon Cinema, featuring the much-anticipated premiere of The Passion and Temptation of Queen Cleopatra, the launch of her insightful new book “When The Spark is Gone: A Guide to Reigniting Passion in Struggling Relationships”, and her own birthday celebration.

The event brought together an illustrious gathering of royals, mayors, dignitaries, and notable figures from across industries, all gracing the occasion with their presence.

Representing civic leadership, Cllr Jit Ranabhat, Worshipful Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich London, joined other notable dignitaries, including Cllr Dominic Mbang, Former Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Chief Dr. Kate Anolue, Former Mayor of the London Borough of Enfield, Dr. Cllr Sunny Lambe, Deputy Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Adedamola Aminu& wife and Chief Ambassador Cllr Caroline Kalu (Ada Kaibeya Nma 1 Amaokayi Ugwueke Bende LGA Abia), President of The Rotary Club of Lewisham and Penge. Their presence underscored the significance of this cultural occasion.

Speaking about the event, HRM Florence Okonkwo expressed deep gratitude to the distinguished guests who joined her on this special day. “I am truly honored by the presence of each guest tonight, especially the esteemed mayors and royal families. Your support adds immeasurable significance to this celebration, and I am deeply grateful,” said HRM Okonkwo, acknowledging the commitment of leaders who share her passion for creating lasting impact through the arts.

The evening’s highlight, the premiere of The Passion and Temptation of Queen Cleopatra, directed by award-winning filmmaker Frank Ikegwuonu, explored the rich cultural narratives of Africa while addressing the contentious issue of stolen artifacts. The film, featuring talents from Nollywood and Hollywood, including Lucien Morgan, Uche Odoputa, and Chiella Sco,Dr Micheal Chukwujeku captivated the audience, promising to ignite discussions on African heritage and cultural preservation.

HRM Okonkwo also introduced her new book, When The Spark is Gone: A Guide to Reigniting Passion in Struggling Relationships, an empowering guide designed to help couples rediscover intimacy and joy. “I believe many of our societal challenges stem from relationship issues,” HRM Okonkwo shared. “This book is my humble contribution toward building stronger, healthier connections in families and communities.”

Other highlights of the night at the Odeon include the release of other new titles by the author and her publishing company, Elegantflix Limited. These include “Exploring Coding As A Newbie”, the cookbook, “54 Flavors of Africa” and the riveting novel, “Through The Storm”.

Among the other notable attendees were distinguished figures from diverse backgrounds, including Veteran Ruke Amata, Ranti Nwosu, Claudia Parvin, Chiella SCO, Diana Oomgufi -Moschee, Mabel Ebabor, Fr. Cosmas Ikirodah, as well as business leaders such as Sir Lucky Ekenonmaghele.
