Hon. Damola Kasumu Gives Account of Stewardship

Last Sunday, 6th of October, 2017 honourable Damola Kasumu held a town hall and stakeholder’s forum with his constituency at Combo Hall LTV 8, Ikeja Lagos.

The lawmaker who is representing Ikeja constituency 2 gave account of his stewardship in the last one year. The young, industrious and ever dynamic politician who have been working tediously to bring the dividend of democracy to the people of his constituency is leaving no stone unturned. In the area of his primary duty, Hon Kasumu single handedly sponsored two bill on the floor of the House.

The bill, which was known as ‘A bill for the establishment of Lagos State Sport Commission and other connected purposes’ was accepted wholeheartedly by the house. While the second bill was ‘Lagos State Sports Trust Fund Bill’ a bill focused on creating a body that would be responsible for fund raising for the enhancement of sport in the state which was also passed into law. Aside that, he has facilitate employment for members of his constituency into the state civil service system and also provided social warfare support which include financial support.

Meanwhile, contrary to the erroneous impression being circulated, Hon Kasumu operates an open-door policy giving a standing instruction that anyone from Ikeja constituency 2 who is identifiable should be given free access to his office.
