Homosexual declared wanted after escaping mob action
The Police in Anambra State have declared one Ogamba Onuorah wanted over his involvement in homosexual activities.
Onuorah, who hails from umunochie Local Government Area of Abia State was declared wanted after he escaped from a mob action.
It was gathered that the culprit, who sources said has been engaging in homosexual practice in the community, was caught red-handed while making love with his partner, identified as Ifejika Okeke.
A community source hinted that “we have been monitoring both of them (Onuorah and ifejika) activities for quite a long time. Ifejika’s neighbours always reported that a male partner always visits him day and night but the noise that emanates from the room everytime Onuorah visit was suggestive of love making which makes them curious .
“You know such an act is a taboo; so that fateful day, May 16, 2018, the neighbours observed the same thing and alerted the neighbourhood watch.

“When we got there, we discovered that they were actually making love. So, we forced open the door and swooped on them.
“While the beating was going on, a team of policemen was alerted to the scene. The arrival of the policemen provided an opportunity for Onuorah to escape but his love partner, Ifejika, was not that lucky. He was almost at the point of death when the police rescued him. He died in the hospital a few days later.
“For us in the community, we have disowned and excommunicated Onuorah because what he did is an abomination.
“Sex is supposed to be between a man and a woman and not the other way round. So, he has ceased to be a member of our community, anywhere we see him around the community, he will face our wrath and that of the gods,” a community leader said.
Meanwhile, the Anambra state Police Area Command confirmed that the suspect, Onuorah, who is still on the run, has been declared wanted.
The police further revealed that they have launched a manhunt for the suspect, asking the members of the public to assist it with useful information.
“The said suspect, Mr. Ogamba Onuorah, 23 years of age, is wanted by the Police for breaking the law of the country and he is also wanted by the villagers for committing an atrocity that is punishable by law 14 years jail.
“Anybody who knows his whereabouts should assist the police with information,” the police spokesman said.
