Health Writers’ Association of Nigeria (HEWAN) will on Friday, March 3rd hold her annual health symposium for the year. A host of medical experts in key public and private sectors of the health industry will deliberate on salient issues of healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
In a release by the President of the association, Chioma Obinna, she said, the 7th annual symposium is themed: “Mental Health in A Recessed Economy”.
Leading the discussion as the Guest lecturer is the Acting Medical Director, Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Dr. Richard Adebayo.
Among other topics for presentation are “Disease Outbreaks: The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Experience”, by the CEO, NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu; and “The Burden of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria” presented by Director General, NACA, Dr. Sani Aliyu.
