This recent church attack happened just four days after another kidnapping incident occurred in a different part of the state.

Last week, unknown assailants abducted a couple in the Ilu Abo community. That community is situated in the Akure North Local Government Area.

Security concerns have continued to rise across Ondo State recently. The state has recorded a noticeable increase in violent attacks by armed groups since the beginning of the year.
