Guardiola Rules Out Club Management After Man City

Pep Guardiola has declared that Manchester City will be his final club in management, signaling a potential end to his illustrious coaching career at the club level.

Speaking to reporters ahead of City’s Champions League clash with Juventus, Guardiola, who joined the club in 2016 and recently extended his contract until 2025, ruled out managing another team.

“I’m not gonna manage any other club after City,” Guardiola stated. “I’m not talking about the long-term future, but I won’t leave and do the same thing elsewhere. Maybe a national team, but that’s different.”

The Spaniard, who previously managed Barcelona and Bayern Munich, has enjoyed significant success at City, including securing a historic treble in the 2022-23 season.

Guardiola’s remarks suggest he may transition to international management or consider stepping away from coaching entirely after his tenure at City ends.
