Group lauds new Plateau Information Commissioner, Joyce Ramnap
A group under the aegis of Plateau Regeneration has lauded the new Information Commissioner of the State, Hon. Joyce Ramnap who was sworn in on Tuesday by Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
Describing the appointment as well deserved, the group said they are confident that the new spokesperson for the State will excel in her Job.
“As a group we express our support for the emergence of Hon. Joyce Ramnap as a Commissioner, who was sworn in by the Governor on Tuesday” a statement signed by Chairman of the group, Pam Datiri said.
According to him: “Her appointment was not unexpected, given her impressive track record as a former member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, who rose to become the deputy speaker.

“Ramnap is very eloquent, intelligent and possesses the requisite expertise and experience to take the information ministry to higher heights”.
The group emphasized that Ramnap has positively impacted lives and delivered the benefits of democracy to the people of Langtang South while she was in the house of assembly.
They also highlighted that Ramnap’s open-door policy would provide youths, woman with greater access to the Governor Mutfwang led administration.
The group firmly believes that Ramnap’s appointment as Commissioner of Information will cultivate grassroots support for the Governor during the 2027 election.
The group appealed to journalists to partner effectively with the new Commissioner for effective communication.
