Famous Nigerian singer Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, has sadly lost his mother.
Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023. Confirming the news, Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager, shared that Mrs Balogun passed away during the early hours of Friday.
“Yes, she passed away this morning, around 1:30 am,” said Sunday Aaare. The late Mrs Balogun was also the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.

In another development, popular comedian, Nkem Owoh’s daughter named Kosisochukwu, who passed recently is slated for burial on the 24th of August. The 24 year old lady had died after a bout with an undisclosed ailment.
