Gov. Sani-Bello promises to consolidate on achievements

Niger state Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello has reassured the people of the state that with his re-election last Saturday, he would focus on the consolidation of projects his administration started while embarking on new peoples’ oriented projects.

He gave this assurance in Minna, the state capital, when he received various stakeholders who paid him a congratulatory and solidarity visits after his victory at last weekend’s governorship election.

The governor stated that his administration would concentrate solidly on the completion of ongoing projects as well as identify areas that require improvement.

“In our next four – year in office as a government, we will consolidate on what we have started so that we don’t leave anything unfinished as well as identify key areas we need to improve on,” the governor said.

Expressing satisfaction with the outcome of the election and commending the people of the state for the level of confidence reposed on him, the governor added that, “I am very happy with the outcome of the election and from the number of votes we got.

It shows the confidence level the people of the state have in this administration, so I think everyone here is excited and as you can see lots of people have been coming in to celebrate.

“I must thank the Niger people for coming out to vote even though the turnout was low, but overwhelming we got a lot votes than the other party.”

He further commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, All Progressives Congress leaders and members, his campaign organization and all stakeholders who contributed toward his re – election.
