Gov Fayemi recovers from COVID-19

Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has recovered from the novel coronavirus. The governor made this affirmation via his Twitter handle when he tweeted
“After eleven days in isolation, I received news that my COVID-19 repeat test came back negative”

Daily Times had earlier reported Gov Fayemi to be the latest political bigwig to contract the deadly virus, behind Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state who all recovered from the coronavirus disease.
The governor expressed his sincere gratitude to God, and urged everyone to pitch in their possible best to help defeat this invisible enemy
“My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team, and all well-wishers for their prayers and solidarity”
“We must continue to do all we can to tackle this pandemic” he said.
