Glo League: Bolus Bullish Ahead Akwa Utd Clash
Giwa FC head coach, Tony Bolus has said his side will consolidate on their hard-earned victory at Enugu Rangers against Akwa United.
The Tin City side will host the Promise keepers in today’s Glo Premier League match day 5 clash at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
Bolus said his side will come out hard more than ever to fight for the three points at stake against Akwa United.
“Of course, it’s a consolidation match for us against Akwa United after the sweet victory at Enugu Rangers in Enugu.
“We’re coming out hard if not harder to fight for the three points at stake, we’ve worked on the lapses noted in the clash at Rangers and we hope to bring it to perfection against Akwa United.
“I’ve already charged the players to forget about the victory at Rangers and focus 100% on the game against Akwa United as victory is most unlikely to come cheap not after Akwa United won their last game on home soil against Gabros.
“The tie against Akwa United will certainly be difficult but with the work we’ve put in place as well as renewed vigour from the players we’ll surely overcome the challenge Akwa United will throw at us,” said Bolus to supersport.com.
Giwa FC have raked in massive seven points from possible 12 in the four-week old Nigerian elite league.
