A girl with Hydrocephalus dies days before life-changing surgery

Little Roona Begum, from Jirania village in India, was born with an extreme form of hydrocephalus (an abnormal accumulation of extra fluid in the brain) and had to undergo surgery after surgery in a bid to save her life.
Her condition made headlines in 2013 when she was still a baby, after her story was published in newspapers, a hospital decided to treat her for free, after which she showed some improvement.
5-year-old Roona was however reported dead on Sunday, June 18, on her way to the hospital where she was being rushed after.
