Gbenga Hashim promises to unite Nigeria
A Presidential Aspirant on the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Mr Gbenga Hashim, has promised to unite all the ethnic nationalities in Nigeria if given the mandate to rule in 2019.
Hashim who was in Makurdi to participate in the middle belt conference also commiserated with the people on the killings in the state, stated this while interacting with newsmen on Tuesday in Makurdi.
He lamented that the country was polarized on ethnic and religious lines which was not supposed to be, reiterating that if he emerged the president in 2019 he would unite all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic and religious backgrounds.
He also said that his desire was to make Nigeria a true modern state where elective positions would not be rotated or zoned but be given to people who had the capacity to deliver democracy dividends to the people.
