GbaramatuVoice Lecture series: Sylva to proffer solutions to oil theft menace

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, is set to feature at the 7th GbaramatuVoice Lecture series to proper solutions to oil theft menace which has plagued the country in recent times as well as speak on economic diversification.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Publisher/CEO of GbaramatuVoice, Jacob Abai, and issued in Abuja.
According to Abai, the celebration/lecture scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August30, has as its central theme: Theme: Oil politics, securing national assets, dependency and diversification.
He disclosed that the anniversary lecture will centre on critical new research themes as sustainable development goals in the Niger Delta, adding that its deliberations will address all spectra of analyses including the oil and gas industry.
“The GbaramatuVoice newspaper has announced for the awareness of the general public details of programmes lined up to mark its forthcoming 7th Anniversary Lecture/Niger Delta Awards 2022.”
Furthermore, he noted that the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, will feature as the Keynote Speaker.
“Prince Adewole Adebayo, 2023 Social Democratic Party, SDP, Presidential Candidate will Chair the event, while His Excellency Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro , Deputy Governor of Delta State will be the Chief Host.

“Also expected at the lecture/award giving ceremony include but not limited to; traditional rulers from the Niger Delta, captain of industries within and outside the country, executives of International Oil Companies (IOCs) operating in the country, public office holders from the Niger Delta region, leaders of specialized groups in Nigeria, among others.
