Garba: Flying Eagles to Train Twice Daily

Coach of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, Manu Garba has said that the team will train twice daily while in Germany as opposed to their former format of training once during preparations for games and tournaments.

The late arrival of training kits for the team means they will observe their first training session today and another session is planned in the evening as they step up their preparations for the World cup.

It was gathered that the morning session will mostly involve physical training while that of the evening will be more tactical as the coaches aim to inculcate new players with their system of play which coach Garba’s calls ‘total football’.

We also gathered friendly games are already being organised for the team while in Germany and if those plans are successful they will play three test games with youth sides of Germany League teams.
