Nigerian leaders, particularly politicians have been urged to make the wellbeing of citizens, their priority which is the covenant between them and the people through votes.
An Islamic cleric, Khalifa Baba N’Fagba who made the call in Ilorin, Kwara State said the harsh economic situation taking too much toll on the masses is simply an indication that politicians and those in government in particular had not kept faith with the confidence reposed in them by Nigerians.
Khalifa Fagba was giving a charge at the wedding between Salamat Sulyman, daughter of ex-chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Barrister Kunle Sulyman and her heartthrob, Abdulwasiu Olayemi from Oshogbo, Osun State.
