FSARS reform: Committee insists all options be exhausted

In furtherance with the implementation of the Presidency’s directive to reform the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the IGP Committee charged with the responsibility to implement the reform in compliance with the directive said all options will be exhausted in ensuring the new Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) is totally overhauled.

Emphasising this was the South-West Chairman of the SARS Overhaul Implementation Committee, DCP Adepoju Ilori who was on tour of the FSARS facilities at the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja.

DCP Ilori who said the visit was also to decongest the FSARS cells interacted with suspects to ensure the FSARS operatives were complying with the new standards 9f handling only armed-robbery and kidnap cases.
