The new Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Ahmed Umar, says he plans to ensure the enforcement of traffic rules to reduce road crashes.

In an interview in Ota on Thursday, he also enjoined motorists to exercise caution because of the road rehabilitation works going on across the state that are capable of causing traffic gridlocks and to avoid crashes resulting in the loss of lives and property.
“We are going to work towards positive changes through strict enforcement and sensitisation of the motorists through public enlightenment.
Umar advised motorists to ensure that they have functioning wipers, good headlamps, hazard lights, especially during the rainy season to avoid crashes.
