Fr. Mbaka urges Union Bank to pay N5.5bn judgment Debt.

 

A Catholic priest and founder of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged Union Bank Plc to speed up payment of a judgment debt awarded in his favour by the Enugu State High Court.
The court had last Thursday while delivering judgment between the cleric and the bank in suit No. ‎E/56/10 awarded N5.5 billion in Mbaka’s favour.

In a statement jointly signed by his media aide, Ike Maximus Ugwuoke, and one of his counsel, Festus C. Okeke, the cleric, who described the judgment as “Divine and miraculous,” urged the bank to speed up action in paying the judgment debt.

Meanwhile, the bank has kicked off celebrations to mark its 100th anniversary of service in Nigeria.The kick-off event was held yesterday at the bank’s corporate headquarters in Lagos.
The new management team, led by Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emeka Emuwa, has embarked on a transformation programme to reposition the bank with the objective of becoming a leading provider of quality financial services in the country.
