Former Nigeria Coach appointed AS Roma Technical Director

John Obuh, the former coach of the Golden Eaglets and Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, has been named Technical Director of the AS Roma Academy in Abuja.

Robinson Adakosa, the academy’s Country Manager, announced this in an Ilorin statement on Monday.

AS Roma is an Italian professional football club situated in Rome, according to the Nigerian News Agency.

Roma won Serie A titles in 1941–42, 1982–83 and 2000–01 seasons, as well as nine Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.

Roma won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in the 1960–61 season and finished second in the European Cup in 1983–84 and the UEFA Cup in 1990–91.

Because of Obuh’s abundance of expertise, Adakosa said the institution was thrilled to begin a new chapter with him.

It was created in 1927 and, with the exception of the 1951–52 season, had always played in the top tier of Italian football.
