Fleeing Suspects On Illegal Land Sale In Ehor Re-declare Wanted

….as police issues fresh arrest warrant on suspects

Indegenes of Ehor community and members of the public has again been reminded to give adequate useful information to assist the police in apprehending alleged fleeing suspects in connection to a land dispute crisis that claims the lives of not fewer than 7 persons, while 14 others were reported to have sustained various degrees of injuries and were taken to a local health facilities in the locals.

The suspects according to the police are, “Davidson Juliet Joyce, Paul Raymond, Romeo Ali, Sule Uyi, Ade Davidson and others”.

At a press brief held recently, the Edo state Police command, formally re-declare wanted, yet to be arrested alleged suspects in connection to the illegal sale of a disputed parcel of land in Ehor Community that led to the death of 7 persons, while 14 others sustained life threat injuries.

The command noted that, the matter was re-visited as family members of the deceased persons recently called for justice for their loved ones who died during the crisis in 2017.

The police added that, “members of the public with useful information on the above wanted persons, should contact any of the nearest police post in their locals in other to apprehend the remaining suspects.

The command highlighted that “some persons connected to the bloody land dispute crisis were arrested and dangerous weapons, including firearms were recovered and were charged to court for prosecution as further investigation continues”

Newsmen gathered that, after several failed attempts by the prime suspect Davidson Juliet Joyce, to recover her parcel of land, she was alleged to have hired the support of some elders and Youth’s within the community to assist her, in securing and recovering of the said inherited land measuring 1000ft by 400 hectares from the dreadful land grabbers, whom were alleged to have sold a large part of it to an unsuspected buyer, went further to threaten Juliet, with hired thugs in other to eliminate her if she dare make further attempt in re-claiming the grabbed land.

A community Chief named, Agbakpan, said “Juliet inherited land was encroached by thugery land grabbers in Ehor Community, after the demise of the legitimate owner late Pa Obi Emeka father to Davidson Juliet Joyce.

Agbakpan lamented that, “the most painful aspect is that the life of Juliet is under serious threat by the thugery land grabbers, which led to her, fleeing the community”

It was gathered that, the illegal buyer and 😭 aggrieved family members who lost their loved ones, were yearning for revenge to eliminate all concern, hence
Davidson Juliet Joyce, eventually absconded for fear of been killed, and was said to have flee her community to an unknown destination for safety, as her whereabout remains a mystery to the family and community indegenes including the police.
