Finally, President Buhari arrives Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally arrived Nigeria from London where he has been on medical vacation since May 7.

The Presidential Jet that conveyed him, Nigerian Air Force 001, landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja at exactly 4:34pm.

He was received by many dignitaries led by the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo. Some of the government officials who received him at the Airport include: the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha , the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari and many others.

Others were the State Governors : Abdullahi Ganduje ( Kano); Abdullaziz Yari (Zamfara); Muhammed Abubakar (Bauchi); Abubakar Bello (Niger); Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Deputy governor of Kaduna State, Barnabas Bala.

Other important personalities at the airport to receive Buhari were members of the National Assembly, service chiefs, Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, Senior Special Adviser to the President on Medial and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Medial and Publicity, Alhaji Garba Shehu and other presidential aides.

Some of ministers including the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the National Security Adviser (NSA) were also at the airport to welcome the President.

According to Adesina, the President will on Monday, address the nation on a live broadcast.
