FG to pay Abia ecological fund soon – Prof Daramola
Following several appeals by the state government over payment of ecological fund by the Federal Government, hope has finally come to Abia as the federal government is working assiduously to pay the state.
This cheering news was dropped by the Federal Minister of State, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Prof Claudius Omoleye Daramola who was in Umuahia to commission and handover an erosion control site at Okwe Obuohia Ibere in Ikwuano LGA of the state.
According to him, the Federal Government is trying all it can to pay Abia its ecological fund “before long”, adding that the state is not the only one waiting to be paid.
