Femi Adebayo heralds Asa wa stage play

Talented actor cum special adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Femi Adebayo has disclosed that all is now set towards the staging of a play titled ‘ Asa Wa’ (Our Culture) come Friday, May 27, at the Banquet Hall, Opposite Kwara State Government House, Ilorin. According to Adebayo, the motive behind the play is to promote the state’s culture and attract domestic and foreign investors, thereby becoming a viable source of revenue for the state.
He said the promotion of the Kwara Cultural Heritage is also to commemorate the 5th year anniversary of the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdul Fatah Ahmed. The event will equal unify beautiful cultures of the different ethnic groups of Kwara State which includes Nupe, Yoruba, Fulani, Baruwa and others.
Expected to grace the event includes Nollywood stars such as Yinka Quadri, Bimbo Osin, Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola, Fathia Williams, Lateef Adedimeji, Lasun Ray, Olaniyi Afonja (Sanyeri), Flaky Ididowo, Adekola Tijani (Kamilu Kompo) among many others.
