In its 19th season, the annual Felabration ceremony will host the world with its various elements such as the Senior Secondary School’s Debate, Symposium, Carnival and the 7 days Musical Concerts, which has every artistes, display various creativity and talents at the New Africa Shrine, Ikeja.
As part of its 2016 plans, organisers of the festival celebrating Nigeria’s icon and creator of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti have revealed a new design, theme and logo for this year’s edition of the jamboree
The Logo design portrays the world echoing the sayings while the man Fela himself and the rest of the world salutes in the popular black power fists. The thematic celebration is themed ‘Everybody say yeah yeah’ spotlighting one of Fela’s popular sayings.
According to the Felabration Organising Committee, concerts will hold the New Africa Shrine, Freedom Park, Kalakuta Museum and a host of other venues, from the October 6 and 10 to October 16, 2016.
