Fayose Lauds Military on Victory over Boko Haram

… Says Jonathan Still The Best

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayo Fayose, has lauded the Nigerian military for recovering Nigerian territories from the terrorist group, Boko Haram and bringing the terrorist group to its knees.

The governor also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his commitment to a united Nigeria and that his efforts have been a moral booster to the soldiers in recording victories over the terrorists.

In a statement in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, the governor said that the nation needs a level-headed person like Jonathan to lead it at this point in time.

“This is to commend the Nigerian military for their patriotic efforts at ridding our country of Boko Haram terrorists. Nigerians, who are not blinded by the politics of not seeing anything good in other persons, are appreciative of the efforts of the military. “Those who feel that nothing good can come out of our military men have been put to shame. Those who feel they will gain political relevance by denigrating the military have no where to hide their face.

“I also commend President Goodluck Jonathan for helping to boost the morale of the military by providing the necessary wherewithal for them to perform. Our President’s commitment to one united Nigeria is unparalleled. “President Jonathan truly believes in the capability of Nigerian military. He has equipped the military more than any President or Head of State before him. He has also redressed the wrong in the rot foisted on the military by previous regimes.

“Nigerians should vote for President Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and not the All Progressives Congress (APC) or Buhari because those sponsoring Buhari are corrupt and will always corner the military budget, become the suppliers to the detriment of Nigerian military.

“Let us check the antecedent‎s of those surrounding Buhari. They are either sitting over the wealth of their states, have plunged the state into debts within four years or have committed allocations coming to their states to pay loans, leaving workers’ salaries unpaid.

“With the numerous challenges confronting our nation at this period, there is no doubt that President Jonathan is who we need to steer the affairs of our great nation,” he said.

Fayose assured the people of the state of more goodies from Federal Government under a Jonathan presidency.
