Father violates 15-year-old daughter, damages bladder
A traditional ruler (Baale) of Oose Agbedu Ajibawo cum Father rapes 15-year-old daughter in Owode-Yewa in Ogun State. The culprit, Rasheed Sholabi, has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for raping his 15-year-old daughter (name withheld) in a sexual relationship for four years, and destroying her bladder.
Ajibawo was arrested after his daughter reported the crime at Owode Egbado Police Division, and the allegation corroborated by the suspect’s ex-wife, Daily Times gathered.
According to the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the survivor said her father started having sex with her at age 11, as a result of which she now finds it difficult to control her urinary system.
Oyemei said: “The victim who told the police that she has lost her mother when she was barely two-year-old, and that the suspect did not allow her to know any relation of her later mother. She said she lived with her father, who sexually abused her from time to time.

“Upon the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Olabisi Elebute, a Superintendent of Police, quickly led her men to where the Baale was promptly arrested. On interrogation, he denied the allegation, but when he was confronted by the victim and one of his ex-wife who corroborated the victim’s statement, the suspect fainted and was taken to the hospital for resuscitation.
“His ex-wife informed the police that she caught him while having sex with his daughter and that was the reason why she left him. The victim has been taken to Stella Obasanjo Motherless Baby Home for safety.”
The PPRO said that the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, has ordered the transfer of the suspect to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), for in-depth investigation and diligent prosecution.
