Fatai’s Sparta Prague crash out of Czech Cup

The hope of former Nigeria youth international Kehinde Fatai to end the season with a piece of silverware has been dashed after his club Sparta Prague were sent packing from the Czech Cup.
Sparta Prague lost in the semi-final to Jablonec, who won 2-1 in Prague on Wednesday in the second leg to reach the final 4-1 on aggregate.
Fatai’s Sparta Prague have already lost the battle to win the league championship as they trail leaders Viktoria Plzen by 13 points with just three games to end the season.
The Jos-born star striker has scored eight goals in the league, one in the cup, three in the UEFA Europa League and two in UEFA Champions League this season.
