Falcons to Battle Ghana, Cameroon in Friendly
Nigeria’s Super Falcons is set to play friendly match with either Ghana or Cameroun before leaving for Canada.
The reigning African champions have been in camp in Abuja, and were supposed to play Mali last weekend in an Olympic Games qualifier, before the Malians withdrew from the process.
With no competitive game in sight to get the team into shape before the World Cup, Extra Time gathered that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reached out to both the Cameroonian Football Association (CFA) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for possible friendly matches before they leave for their Canadian camp.
Both countries are yet to respond to the NFF’s request, but it is expected that the responses will be positive.
