Ezekwesili Blasts Senators Over Obanikoro’s Confirmation

Prominent #BringBackOurGirls campaigner, Dr. Ezekwesili, has berated the Nigerian Senate over the recent ministerial confirmation of Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro describing the senators as a “shameless lot.”

Ezekwesili, who voiced her displeasure on her twitter handle @obyezeks, argued that the nomination and confirmation of the former minister of state for defense, has no political context for citizens for it is entirely about the values of the Nigerian people.

Obanikoro’s nomination and eventual confirmation was condemned by senators of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), following his alleged role in the Ekiti election.
