Ex-Guber Aspirant Condoles Yilwatda, Says Nigeria Exiting Hardship

Saidu Ugonoh, Former Kogi governorship aspirant and APC chieftain, has condoled with the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, over the death of his mother.

In a message, Ugonoh, who holds the title of Santuraki of Ebiraland, praised Yilwatda’s leadership qualities and his ability to reposition the party ahead of 2027.

“Regardless of age, the loss of a mother pierces deeply… mama is no-more but her imprints will remain fresh on sands of time, she gave Nigeria a worthy son,” he said.

Ugonoh lauded Yilwatda’s sincerity in reconciling aggrieved party members and said his leadership style reflected “innate qualities and developed skills” that younger politicians should emulate.
On national issues, he expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s policies, stressing that “Nigeria is already exiting her worse days.”

“These policies are not what you expect results the next day, but with commitment and political will, we will surely smile at the end of the day,” he added.
