EPL Manager of the season: Fans kick against Lampard’s inclusion

Premier League fans are currently setting social media ablaze following the inclusion of Frank Lampard in the Premier League manager of the season award.
The Premier League announced on Friday, four managers who made the cut for the highly coveted accolade.
In what doesn’t come as a surprise, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, alongside Leicester City’s Brendan Rogers have been pegged in the running for the award. Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder also makes the list, following an impressive outing with the Premier League’s new boys where he turned Bramall Lane into a fortress.

The fans however, have raised question marks with regard to Lampard’s inclusion, citing references and statistics as to why the Chelsea Legend shouldn’t be in the running.
Lampard, who lost 2 finals, surrendered 3rd position to Manchester United, registered 12 losses, managed only a single away clean sheet, squandered an 8 point lead over 5th, conceded more goals than Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace has been without a doubt, a surprise pick for the coveted prize. Regardless, it remains highly unlikely that the Englishman will nick home the award.
