Ekiti 2018 election: Fayose’s wife sues for peace

The wife of the Ekiti State governor, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has advised residents of the state against blood shedding in the forthcoming governorship election slated for July 14, 2018.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor’s wife gave the advice on Tuesday during her visit to the General Hospitals at Ikere and Ikole-Ekiti.
According to her, there is no need for bloodletting because of the election as all Ekiti people are one.
Mrs Fayose also advised against any act that could distort the peace of the state, adding that the election should not be a do or die affair.
The governor’s wife, who later paid the medical bills of 46 indigent patients in both hospitals, urged the people to always visit the hospitals for regular check up, saying that health is wealth.
The Chief Medical Director of Ikole Specialist Hospital, Dr Kayode Rosiji, thanked the governor’s wife for always coming to the aid of the hospital by offsetting the medical bills of indigent patients.
He said that some of the patients had been discharged but could not go home because of the inability to pay their bills.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Monisola Ojo, appreciated the governor’s wife for paying their medical bills at this austere period.
